Bead Blast Blue

Bead Blasted Blue Stainless steel is an alternative to #4, Hairline or Mirror finish, it is a non directional, Soft Low reflective finish that is commonly used for Feature Walls, Columns, and Decorative Trims.

Bead Blast Blue Finish provides a consistent clean and streak free surface that is not possible with other available finishes.

How Bead Blast Blue PVD is Made

The surface of the stainless steel is polished to a mirror finish to give a bright base and then blasted with a ceramic or glass beading in a uniform manner by automated machinery for a consistent non directional finish.

It is then coloured with a process called PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) during this process Titanium Atoms are fired into the surface of the stainless with a particular process giving the Titanium a chance to change into a Blue Colour before embedding into the Stainless Steel and becoming the new surface.
